Jet Black Chex Herd Sires Description: We are so excited with all of the different traits this young bull brings to the table. He has such a strong twist gene that we will utilize with all of the VJ Tommie blood in our program. His sire is a genetic outcross for our whole program. His dam is in her 70's TTT and up in her 90's total horn. So far jet black is doing a fantastic job the majority of his calves are black or black and white. I've never seen a bull with the consistency on his offspring's horn. If I bred him with a cow with a lot of total horn, the horns will be laid back and flat. If I bred him to a cow with a lot of twists they will be laid back and flat with a hook on the end. Date of Birth: 09/26/2007
